VTV9 of Vietnam TV reported that the Departments of the Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province, Tourism Association, Tourism Companies ... together to survey tours by waterway from Saigon to Binh Duong & Cu Chi by Daily Boat, interviewing leaders of Departments and Mr. Nguyen Kim Toan - Director of Daily Company.

Day of Tourism was officially opened at 23^rd September Park (Dist.1 HCM City) on April 7^th, 2011. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Hoang Van Ke, Vice People's Committee of Hai Phong; Mr. Le Van Hung, Deputy Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh; representing of 27 provinces; and participation and sponsorship of the Business Units for the event.

Having a speech in the opening event, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Rum, Director of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City confirmed that the new features of this organization which was outstanding as an orientation into the “Travelling Supermarket”; Calendar Festival honoring tourism brand as well as the largest attendance of the provinces (27 localities) since the first time. Under the program, the evening of 8^th April, Award Ceremony of Singing Contest of Tourism; the evening of 9^th April, Ceremony Honoring Vietnam Tourism Brand (live on HTV9 TV at 20:30PM); and the evening of 10^th April closing all these activities were held in main stage, the B zone of 23^rd September Park.
